Who is it ? - Results of quiz no. 1

Our thanks to all of you who took part in the first Anyone For Tee 'Recognise the Face' quiz. We apologise for taking rather longer than planned to announce the results - we've been somewhat submerged by the large number of e-mails we've been getting, not to mention our day jobs! We're still just a couple of amateur Duffers, doing this in our spare time, so thank you for bearing with us.

The answers to this quiz were (Youth No.1) Sam Torrance and (Youth No. 2) Mark James, and it was very noticeable how much harder you found it to spot Mark; presumbly the presence of hair and the lack of moustache had something to do with it! With Sam, the twinkle in the eye was pretty unmistakeable, and most of you got him.

As a reminder, the clues were:

These youthful faces had both just begun to make their mark on the world of professional golf when these pictures were taken
One (Sam) had just been voted 'Rookie of the Year', and the other had put in a superb performance at the Open Championship, including a share of the course record in the final round, in his first year as a pro (Mark scored a 66, and finished equal fifth behind winner Johnny Miller at Royal Birkdale).
Both are still playing today
They have a number of personal and professional points in common (for example, both have been Ryder Cup captains), the earliest of which is sharing 1953 as the year of their birth
