Gobra began life as a manufacturer of sporting brassieres for golfers, but, after many years of investment in research and design, we are now able to bring to market a range of innovative and hi-tech sports products.
They are all based on our founder's simple original principle of improving balance and reducing unnecessary torque, in order to produce efficient, high-performance equipment that is comfortable to use.

- Brassieres
The mainstay of our product range is still the Gobra brassiere, although today it comes in a wide range of styles and designs to suit every sport and every sportswoman.
To give just two examples of the very different mechanical challenges facing a sports bra, Gobra brassieres are today the choice of Russian tennis star Anna Kournikova as well as world golf no. 1 Annika Sorenstam. Both get full and comfortable support throughout the violent physical movements required by their sport.

- Golf Clubs
Few sports offer such complex technical challenges to equipment manufacturers as golf. The merest fraction of a degree of misalignment at the moment of impact between club and ball can send a shot careering way off line and lose a tournament.
We decided to apply the proven Gobra principles to golf club design, and the result has been the Gobra "Twin Cup" driver, which can not only outhit any competitive driver, but also keep the ball straight! Former Open Champion David Duval joined the Gobra professional staff two years ago to help us fine-tune the club, and the first player to use it in competition will be none other than world no. 1 Tiger Woods!
But at Gobra we understand that "You drive for show, but you putt for dough", so we have also applied ourselves to the "game within a game" - putting. The Gobra putter, like all Gobra products, offers the last word in balance and reduces shot-wrecking torque to the absolute minimum - a certain winner!

- Baseball Gloves
As soon as our founder saw Madonna's film "A League Of Their Own", he took a strong interest in women's baseball. He quickly realised that the girls were being forced to play with downsized men's equipment, rather than products specifically designed for them.
With his usual methodical research and hands-on approach to the problem, he soon came up with the now world-famous "Gobra Lady Mitts", and we are today the official supplier of catcher's gloves to the All American Girls Professional Baseball League and Baseball Japan. Quite a coup for a UK company and two more proud firsts for Gobra!

| The success of the 'Lady Mitts' has encouraged Gobra to create a men's version of the revolutionary glove, which is undergoing final field-tests with several Minor League baseball teams in the US. Such is the interest however, that talks are already in progress with two Major League players. |
- Men's Underpants
Although prototype testing is officially still in progress, and it is Gobra's policy not to discuss a product until it is in the pre-commercialisation phase of its development, the phenomenal success of the Gobra Underpants has meant that we could no longer deny the existence of this product.
With victories in all four of golf's Major Championships to our credit in 2003, and numerous victories on the PGA, Senior PGA and European tours, these underpants represent a breakthrough in male sporting performance, comfort and health, applying the proven Gobra principles of balance and firm mechanical support to this long-neglected but vital item of underwear. They are also worn by Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher to ensure perfect weight distribution in his Ferrari.
Underpant designs for a number of other sports are also on the drawing board; details of these will be made available as they reach the end of their testing programmes.

- Footwear
Our footwear range is also officially undergoing prototype testing in the form of rugby boots and golf shoes, but once again the outstanding success of these products has meant that we could no longer deny their existence.
No human being has exactly identical left and right feet, and this natural imbalance can cause subconscious, yet crucial, disequilibrium for the high-performance athlete. By fitting shoes asymetrically, matching both size and weight precisely to the individual foot's measurements, Gobra shoes compensate for this imbalance and leave the brain and body focussed entirely on perfection of the sporting movement.
Gobra rugby boots provided the perfect balance which allowed Jonny Wilkinson to kick the winning drop-goal in the 2004 Rugby World Cup final, and have helped golfer Colin Montgomerie rekindle his career at the age of forty.
Footwear for other disciplines, including cricket, sprinting, soccer, tennis and ballroom dancing are currently in the pre-release stage of testing at Gobra's R&D Department.

- Hair Care & Styling
