GOBRA Innovative Sports EquipmentThe Queen's Award to Industry |
 |
As a British company, Gobra is extremely proud to be a double winner of the prestigious "Queens's Award to Industry".
We won our first award for outstanding technical innovation in 1998, in recognition of our contribution to women's sport in developing the Gobra "Bounce-Minimiser" brassiere, which allows even well-endowed ladies to indulge in their favorite sport without fear of damaging their delicate tissues or giving themselves a black eye.
Our second award came the following year, in recognition of our services to British exports, having almost quadrupled our already substantial export turnover thanks to the "Bounce-Minimiser" and related products, and in the process taking a share of nearly 30% of the global premium sports bra market.
Gobra is also in the running for a third Queen's Award for Enterprise (as they are now called), once again for technical innovation.
This time, the product under consideration is the revolutionary Gobra "Twin-Cup" driver, which promises to help world no. 1 Tiger Woods rewrite the history books of golf.
Although we like to keep a low profile about it out of discretion and respect, Gobra also holds a Royal Warrant as Purveyor of Sporting Foundation Garments By Appointment to HRH the Prince of Wales.
Since we assume that Prince Charles himself does not wear a bra during polo, we believe that Mrs Camilla Parker-Bowles controls her bounce whilst enjoying the hunt thanks to Gobra products.
