Masashi "Jumbo" Ozaki is a national hero in Japan, having successfuly competed on the US Tour against the best in the world.
Famous for his striking sense of style as much as his striking of the ball, Jumbo, whose career and legendary shirts were at their peak in the 1970s and '80s, clearly set the standard for his compatriots (such as current World No. 2 Shingo Katayama), with his subtle use of colour and shapes, and the classic symmetry of his patterns. |
