Masters of Fashion?

Question: Who’s wearing the best clothes on tour?
“Well Adam Scott’s well into his clothes. He even gets his slacks custom made. The Americans are a wee bit cookie-cutterish, lots of khaki trousers. Henrik Bjornstad is wearing Oakley apparel which is just bizarre…” (Paul Casey, former English Amateur champion, winner of the Scottish PGA 2001 and the ANZ Championship 2003.)
AnyoneForTee is pleased to announce the inaugural Fashion Awards for World Golf – best and worst, men’s and women’s.
Starting with the first Major Championship, and focusing on all the key professional circuits, AnyoneForTee will poll readers around the globe before delivering the verdicts in late 2003 on the highs and lows of golfing sartorial elegance.
"The accent on fashion is decades overdue", said AnyoneForTee. In a statement prepared for the Paris fashion show, to which they were unfortunately not invited, the publishers said: "For years, golfers have been the perennial subject of ridicule from a fashion mafia that wouldn’t know a five iron from a French poodle. It’s time ordinary golfers stopped being innocent victims of abuse and struck back."
So who are the best and worst dressed professional golfers? We invite you to send your vote and comments to teebox@anyonefortee.com.
You can follow the progress of your favorite players in the AnyoneForTee Fashion Order of Merit:- The Men's rankings can be found here. The Ladies' rankings are here.
It could be a close run race, and an interesting exercise in contrasting styles, if the performances below are anything to go by.
