AFT's Fashion Order of Merit Poll- Christina Kim at the State Farm Classic
|
By Anyone For Tee's Fashion Correspondent Natalie Drest
The LPGA tour, rightly or wrongly, believes that the way the ladies look on the course is a key factor in drawing the galleries and the TV revenue. Some of the players clearly agree and make a big effort to look good, while others look as though they have just finished sweeping out the yard.

20 year old Christina Kim (seen here with her father, Man Kim), 5ft 6in from California, is clearly out to make a fashion statement with bold colours and matching reversed berets, but does she get it right? Her golf is outstanding: she finished second in the State Farm Classic last week, with rounds of 62-66-71-66 for a 23 under par total, one shot behind Cristie Kerr, but is her dress sense up there with her golf game? Take a look at the pictures below.
Let us know your views by voting on Christina's outfits over the four days of the LPGA State Farm Classic, and we'll publish the results in our Fashion Order of Merit.
You will also find some examples of Christina's 2003 fashion form, which earned her a top ten finish in our Worst Dressed Player of the Year poll, by scrolling to the bottom of the page or by clicking here.

Please cast your vote by email using a scale of 0-9, where '0' is a horrible fashion faux-pas, and '9' is cool and classy. If you would like to explain your vote to us, or make any other comments (which we may reproduce on the site), please add this to your vote. |

Naturally we would never seek to influence your judgement, but to be fair to Christina we feel it only right to give you some samples of her 2003 on-course wardrobe, which placed her among the worst dressed ladies of the LPGA Tour in last year's AFT poll.
While it would appear that Christina has not entirely abandoned stripes in 2004, she does seem to have given up her penchant for delicate leaf prints, which in our opinion is a major improvement. Judge for yourself with these six examples of last year's form.
