- If you throw, kick, beat or break your clubs in anger...
- If your playing partners have ever been ashamed to be out with you...
- If you do not know, or do not apply, Section I of the Rules of Golf (Etiquette)...
You are not a Golfer, you are a Hacker!
You are not welcome in the Duffers Golf Club. Kindly leave now.
But, whatever your handicap, high 20's, 30's or more,
or even if you don't have one: -
- If you love and uphold the traditions of the game...
- If you play for enjoyment in a spirit of friendly competition...
- If you respect the Rules, the course and your fellow golfers...
- If your playing partners enjoy your company, winning or losing...
- If you try your best and don't succeed, but keep a sense of humour...
- If you are honest about your golf, to yourself and to others...
You are welcome to join us in the Duffers Golf Club!
We represent the true spirit of the game, and bear the name
'Duffer' with pride.
