UK. As the nation prepares to settle into an armchair for eleven weeks of riveting reality TV, thirteen of the world's leading professional golfers have just spent their last night of freedom before being locked into the fearsome Big Brother house (below) with no escape!

AnyoneForTee has teamed up with Channel Fore to bring you exclusive internet coverage of the first ever Big Brother contest fought out between golf pros.
Seven men and six girls have been selected after months of painstaking deliberation to have their every move followed and their most intimate moments observed in close-up by millions of viewers. With each housemate being chosen for his or her ability to amuse, irritate, provoke or seduce the others, the final, explosive line-up looks like this:

Tonight the housemates wave goodbye to the outside world and enter the house, where they will spend up to eleven weeks - the time it will take to eliminate 12 of the 13 to leave a winner, who will pocket $1 million! They will have to perform tasks to win creature comforts, such as extra food and drink, and will live in under the constant gaze of Big Brothers's 36 cameras. They will have no privacy. Everyone will sleep in a communal bedroom and shower in a communal bathroom, and they must eat, work and relax all together in the commmunal lounge, however tense the atmosphere.
Only in one place can they be alone - the locker room (right) - where they can go to vent their feelings in front of a camera linked directly to Big Brother.
But this room will also be the place they receive instructions or punishment from Big Brother.
 As the inmates enter the house one of them, unknown to the others, already has a task. Craig (left), the unlucky thirteenth housemate in the selection process, has to make himself thoroughly unpopular with the other twelve in order to be nominated by them for eviction by a majority of votes. If another housemate becomes more unpopular, Craig will be evicted. If he succeeds in being the most unpopular, he will be allowed to choose two of his housemates as candidates for eviction and you, the viewer, will get to vote for which of them must leave. Look out for some strange behaviour from Craig as he secretly does his utmost to be detested by everyone!
Regular reports from the BB house will be presented by Sue Barker and David Feherty, who will bring you edited highlights of the action inside the house, so keep watching this space. For now, however, let us introduce you in more detail to the thirteen housemates, and may the best pro win!

ANNIKA - A fitness fanatic, the intense, cool, aloof, soon to be divorced Swede is not known for her sense of humour but is a tireless worker in pursuit of her goals. She is not afraid to take on the men, and has in the past been the object of sexist remarks from none other than housemate Vijay! Annika loves to cook, which should come in useful, but her perfectionist streak may make it difficult for her to integrate with the other inmates. Still, we reckon her nickname of 'Miss 59' will intrigue the lads! |

CHRIS - Born in the US, 21 year old Christina's family hail from Korea, but if you were expecting a demure, petite Asian girl, forget it! Chris is larger than life in every way. A colourful, wacky dresser, she'll vamp and camp it up with the best, so Ian P. had better watch out he's not overshadowed! Chris loves attention: "I'm addicted to it... I dress, I act, I speak outlandishly". She's also notorious for her off-colour jokes: "I tell jokes whenever I feel it's appropriate, and it never is, so I tell them anyway". |

COLIN - 'Monty' to his friends (both of them), is a suave 41 year old divorcee, but admits to having a quick temper and bouts of grumpiness - or as he puts it "a short fuse"! He hates paparazzi and cameras in general, so the BB house is likely to have him blowing his top pretty soon. Colin fights a constant battle with his weight, so we can look forward to him being picky in the food department as well. Plus, he gets rather irritable with Americans nearby, so look for plenty of friction all round with Monty! |

CRAIG - 'The Walrus' is, at 52, the doyen of the BB house, but don't expect his age to make him a shrinking violet! Overweight, politically incorrect and proud of it, Craig will delight in munching hamburgers and guzzling soda-pops at all hours, with much belching and farting as a result. His revolting party trick of licking the mayonnaise and ketchup out of his moutache while whistling 'Colonel Bogey' is sure to turn the stomachs of his more delicate housemates. You won't know whether to love or hate this tough competitor! |

IAN P. - Cocky, supremely self-confident, flamboyant and laddish, 'Pants', as he has chosen to be called during BB, is proud to call Milton Keynes home and is a boy who just loves red! He drives a Ferrari, is a fervent Arsenal supporter and puts red streaks in his hair when the fancy takes him. He loves colourful, stylish clothes and is not afraid to look a prat in pursuit of fashion. Always ready with a cheeky comment, Ian may well get on the nerves of his more conservative housemates - and will enjoy it! |

IAN W. - A tiny, fun-loving Welshman, 'Woosie' loves a pint or three and has an eye for the ladies. Tough and a natural leader despite his diminutive stature, Woosie is likely to clash with the other forceful personalities in the house, who would do well to remember that he is a former coal-miner and boxer with attitude. Always up for a joke, 'Boozy Woosie' is sure to be a hit with the viewers, but will he be able to keep his cool with his housemates? As long as none of them mention that matter of the '15th club...' |

JOHN - John, 39, is a self-confessed, unreconstructed redneck. A recovering alcoholic, he says "I'm an expert on giving up booze - I've done it so many times!" He has lost count of the number of times he's been married. This powerfully built, lyric-writing, guitar-picking rambler who prefers to live in his luxury mobile home also chain smokes, which will no doubt upset many of his fellow housemates as he lights up without regard for those around him. A talented but complex and difficult individual. |

LAURA - Tomboy Laura is an inveterate gambler who loves fast cars and football. She supports Liverpool - and even has their logo on her putter - so we look forward to the rivalry with Ian P. about the merits of their respective teams! A big girl known for her prodigious power, Laura is not afraid to speak her mind and doesn't suffer fools gladly. The boys had better watch out if they start trying to treat her like a "little woman". In the tasks, Laura will expect to compete on equal terms with the men - and win! |

MIANNE - 38 year old Danish-born Mianne is a post-operative transexual, the first known female professional golfer who was born male. She denies she has any strength advantage over the other girls, but we bet the lads will be out to test her at the first opportunity! Expect a lot of interest from the housemates when Mianne gets into the shower, but relax guys - there's really nothing to see! Viewers will be hoping this striking blonde with the great sense of humour makes the cut. Now, no jokes please! |

NATALIE - Blonde, slim and sexy, Natalie, 22, is not afraid to use her good looks! For the second year running, the 5ft 9in bombshell has appeared in revealing calendar shots, saying "With my calendar this year, I really wanted to show a side of myself not often seen on the golf course." Indeed! Currently dating an American pro-footballer, Natalie lacks the professional success (best to date a third place) to accompany her film-star looks, so expect her housemates to be winding her up about that! |

PHIL - 'Lefty' is a gambler's gambler and we understand he's wagered £10.000 with the bookies at 10-1 that he'll emerge victorious from the BB house, and a further £10.000 with Laura Davies that she'll be evicted before him! Phil thinks life is great and wears a permanent broad grin on his face (well, have you seen his wife, Amy?!), which is sure to get on Monty's nerves before too long. As the world's greatest exponent of the flop shot, let's hope that Phil's shot at BB won't be a flop! |

SOPHIE - Sex-kitten Sophie is Natalie's arch rival in the calendar stakes, having posed topless in 2005! "Golf needs more visibility, glamour and a new image," she says. "My first sexy calendar is intended to represent my love for golf, my desire for freedom and a touch of coquetry." The 28 year old Italian also longs for professional success (just 8 top tens to date) to silence critics of her modelling. Watch for the fur to fly as Sophie and Natalie battle it out to be their housemates' and the viewers' favourite! |

VIJAY - Our Fijian Indian former night-club bouncer 'Vij' is a self-styled misogynist, so it will be interesting to see how he handles the woman in the BB house! He has a relentless work ethic and expects the utmost of himself and those around him. Expect him to drive his housemates very hard during the tasks - Vijay is only interested in winning, not in coming second. Vijay loves a good meal and a bottle of wine so he's likely to turn his nose up when the others call for a curry and beer! |
